How are seats assigned at the time of booking?
Our new SIRE sale system allows passengers to choose between aisle or window seats. All seats are subject to availability.
Forward-facing center seats are sold first. Ticket sales then progressively move outward.
The system attempts to assign a group of passengers to adjacent seats.
- The ticket seller will inform you when no adjacent seats are available.
- If no seats are available on the same train car, the system will then search for all available seats on all available train cars. The ticket seller will keep you informed during the whole sales process.
